TERMS & CONDITIONS

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Set out below are the terms on which SkinSpaceUK provides service to its clients. Please ensure that you have read and fully understood them prior to booking any treatments or procedures at SkinSpaceUK.
If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.

PRACTITIONERS:

All practitioners at SkinSpaceUK are trained and registered NMC Nurses, GMC Doctors and NVQ or equivalent Laser & Beauty Therapists.

All practitioners are registered and approved in accordance with the company’s treatment and manufacturer protocols. SkinSpaceUK does not guarantee continued treatment with a named nurse / doctor or therapist.

APPOINTMENTS & CANCELLATIONS:

SkinSpaceUK does not guarantee appointment dates or times, these are subject to availability.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, we require 48 hours’ notice. Failure to give the required notice will result in you losing your treatment/session. If you wish to rebook you will be charged a re-booking fee of £50.00. (depending on the appointment length).

Clients who have purchased a course of treatment but fail to attend their appointment/s will not be entitled to a refund for their missed treatment.

Please arrive for your appointment at least 5-‐10 minutes in advance so consultation paperwork can be completed, and photographs of your treatment areas can be documented. The details of which are for our use only and kept confidential. Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time or forfeiting of the appointment. SkinSpaceUK will always endeavour to ensure that your appointment runs to time and will endeavour to keep you informed of any delays.

Should we need to cancel or postpone your appointment at short notice, we will make every effort to contact you in advance.

Prior to your appointment we will inform you of any preparation required in advance of your treatment. Failure to follow the guidelines may result in cancellation of your appointment, reduced treatment time, or additional fees being charged..

REFUNDS & LIABILITY:

 SkinSpaceUK has the right to refuse a refund request for any of the following circumstances:

– We do not offer refunds if you have moved countries or to a new location within the United Kingdom. We have multiple Clinic locations across the UK that we can transfer your appointments to. Clients using discounted vouchers must pay an administration charge of £50.00.

– We cannot transfer or exchange treatments or packages that have already commenced (including your consultation and patch test) to friends or family. They must be carried out by the individual that has purchased the treatments.

– If you have failed to follow any necessary pre-treatment preparation for example poor shaving, tanned skin (either from the sun or fake tan), medication that was not disclosed or any other possible reason why you cannot have treatment before the 48-hour cancellation policy – you will forfeit that session.

– By purchasing any product, single or package of treatments – SkinSpaceUK cannot be held responsible for any unknown side effects which may occur because of having skin, injectable or laser treatments.

– Treatment is non-refundable should you become medically unsuitable during treatment or after the first consultation has taken place, a credit or alternative treatment will be offered (where possible) to be used within 24 months. We may ask that you obtain a medical report from your physician.

– Children under the age of 16 years are not permitted in the clinic premises due to health and safety. The clinic has the right to refuse treatment if you bring children with you to the clinic. We politely ask that you come to your appointment unaccompanied.

REFUNDS FOR PRODUCTS / TREATMENTS PURCHASED IN OUR CLINICS:

Please be aware that we do not offer refunds on full price, discounted/sale or voucher campaign treatments or products purchased in any of our clinics.

We are unable to offer refunds on retail products purchased.

If you do change your mind to any treatments or products purchased in any of our clinics, SkinSpaceUK can offer to exchange the treatment to another service or give a credit note within 7 days of purchase. Please contact your local clinic or our Help Team [email protected] for any further help.

If you experience an adverse reaction to a treatment or product, please speak directly with the clinic manager of the clinic where you made your booking or purchase. They will be able to advise on alternative treatments or products, or otherwise use their discretion to resolve your issue.
This does not affect your statutory rights.

REFUNDS FOR PRODUCTS / TREATMENTS PURCHASED ONLINE OR VIA TELEPHONE:

If for any reason you have changed your mind in relation to your purchase bought online or over the telephone, you have a 14-day cooling off period within which you have the rights to ask for a refund.
Please contact your clinic manager or our Help Team [email protected] to request the refund within 14 days of the purchase date and provide your proof of purchase.

After the expiry of the 14-day cooling off period our standard refund policy (set out above) will apply to any treatments, pre-paid packages, gift vouchers or voucher campaigns purchased online or via telephone, namely, that we do not offer any refunds on these items.

Please note this 14-day cooling off period does not apply to any purchases made in clinics.
We will not offer any refund for any redeemed or used pre-paid packages or gift cards during the 14-day cooling off period. Due to client’s safety, we are unable to offer refunds on retail products purchased.

VOUCHERS:

If you are booking through one of our promotional offers, please be ready to give us the security code over the phone when you’re booking your appointment, and please ensure you bring a copy of your voucher into the clinic (where applicable).

Treatments are location based per clinic site.

Please note our voucher deals are ONE VOUCHER PER CLIENT PER TREATMENT ONLY.

PRICES:

All our prices are quoted on our website.

We will from time-to-time change or update the prices quoted on our website. This will not affect contracts that have previously been signed and approved.

It is possible that a price maybe listed incorrectly on the website. SkinSpaceUK shall have the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that item.

PAYMENT POLICY:

Correct payment must be received before treatments start at each booked appointment. This is generally in full, via Klarna or can be via our finance option. If you refuse to pay in advance, we have the right to refuse to treat you.
Instalments must be paid at correct intervals as agreed by the clinic manager.

PAYMENTS VIA INTERNET:


We are delighted to offer a secure checkout for all payments via our e-commerce supplier www.shopify.com .

You may pay using any of the methods specified in the Payments section of this site. You will be required to confirm that the credit card or debit card that is being used is yours.

All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay of your receiving your treatment or products.

LASER HAIR PACKAGES:

We are able to offer great value and speedy laser treatments using industry leaders Alma lasers. Our treatment times are extremely fast and efficient due to the advances in our laser technology with treatment times taking less than 10 minutes and full body treatments less than 60 minutes. On average we treat most clients in less than 30 minutes.

Please shave the area the day before your treatment, failure to do so may result in a lost session.

Due to the overwhelming popularity of our discounted laser hair packages, it is imperative that all sessions are attended. By purchasing a course of treatments, you are entering into an agreement with SkinSpaceUK. If you fail to attend and have not given us 48 hours’ notice, then you forfeit the complete course of treatments.

If you are late for your appointment/treatment areas are unshaven, the session will be forfeited, and no refund or alternative appointment will be offered.

If for any reason an appointment is postponed/cancelled by us, we will always offer an alternative date. We are unable to offer any refunds on this basis.

All treatments purchased as a course, must be paid for in full in advance of the first treatment.

TREATMENT SUITABILITY:

All tattoos/pigmentation/scars must be fully covered prior to any laser treatments.

We will always assess whether treatment is suitable for you, or likely to be successful, prior to any treatment being carried out. We are unable to guarantee results. You will only be liable for the cost of the initial consultation fee of £99.00, where applicable.

Clients undertaking any laser treatment and have had treatment for cancer must be in remission for a minimum of 5 years before treatment can be undertaken.

RESOLVING COMPLAINTS:

SkinSpaceUK endeavours to treat all its clients appropriately, compassionately and fairly. If, however, you have an issue with any matter in relation to your treatment at SkinSpaceUK you are entitled to lodge a complaint by contacting [email protected]

The member of staff who initially receives the complaint will convey the details to the Clinic Manager or their designated deputy, and you will receive either an email or telephone call within 10 days of lodging the complaint that an investigation into the matter is under way.

During the course of the investigation, SkinSpaceUK may require you to attend an additional consultation with the practitioner involved in your treatment, if this is deemed appropriate. If you are not satisfied with this initial attempt at resolution or have any objection to being seen by this practitioner, the clinic Manager will review your case.

All complaints, action taken, and changes made in response to a complaint will be recorded.
