Vitamin D Shot

Boost Your Health and Wellbeing With SkinSpaceUK’s Vitamin D Shot

Reboot your skin and immune system, with a simple and targeted boost of essential Vitamin D. Are you feeling tired, achy and rundown? Then you may be suffering from Vitamin D deficiency, a common condition for people living in the UK, particularly during the long winter season. There’s a good reason why Vitamin D is known as the sunshine vitamin!

This essential nutrient is required for many of the main processes of the body and assists the body in its ability to absorb other minerals. Vitamin D is a crucial component in maintaining your general health and well being, to the extent that the government has recently advised that we should all be taking extra supplementation to combat the many health issues associated with a Vitamin D deficiency.

You may have noticed symptoms including fatigue, regular bouts of illness that you can’t shake off, bone and muscle pain, low moods and hair loss. If left untreated, Vitamin D deficiency can lead to a host of complications including cardiovascular conditions, autoimmune problems, neurological diseases, pregnancy complications and certain cancers, especially in the breast, prostate and colon areas.

Why Have a Vitamin D Shot?

Studies have found that the most effective way for the body to absorb Vitamin D is via an injection, as the much-needed nutrients go directly into the bloodstream. Our SkinSpaceUK clinics are on hand to administer these powerfully effective shots, which help to promote healthy bones and teeth, support the immune and nervous system, regulate insulin levels and support lung function and cardiovascular health.

Vitamin D Shots at SkinSpaceUK– How Does it Work?

Your treatment will start with an initial consultation with our SkinSpaceUK nurse to assess your suitability for Vitamin D shots. At SkinSpaceUK, we pride ourselves on being able to offer our clients a personalised service.

Next, the SkinSpaceUK nurse will administer the shot by intramuscular injection at the top of the arm. It’s a quick and simple process that usually just takes between five and ten minutes.

The Vitamin D shot at SkinSpaceUK requires no down time, so you can leave our clinic and carry on with your day.
